BREAKING: American Airlines shareholders voted today to reject an anti-DEI proposal at its annual meeting, tally TBA. Proposal requested American end its relationship with the Human Rights Campaign‘s Corporate Equality Index, a benchmarking tool scoring LGBTQ+ practices. American has had a perfect score for 20 years.
American Airlines Board unanimously recommended shareholders vote to reject the anti-LGBTQ+ proposal from National Center for Public Policy Research.
